Yesterday, Zoey walked by and that proved to be too much for my monkey. I was in the garage, but I heard the crash. You know sometimes you hear something break and judging by the distance, etc. you think, "Oh man, that was the vase we have on the table." I have never heard a noise like the one this window made. It crashed, and shattered and crimpled (is that a word?). Unfortunately, it was not tempered glass so it broke into several large, sharp pieces as well as thousands of shards. The real shocker is that Joey didn't cut her foot when she broke the window. She cut it when she stepped on a piece while trying to get to me to apologize.
The vet took a look at the cut and said, "stitches". So poor Joey was put under so her paw could be cleaned, stitched and dressed (see above photo). She will be in her "boot" for a week. She slept most of last evening and this morning. She has been really good about not chewing on her bandage, or stopping when we ask her too. Her attitude it fabulous - still all wiggles. She is limping, but I can't tell if it is because her foot hurts or because the bandage is weird. Probably both.

Hugs and waggles to you sweet one! I know that you will be "high 5-ing" and doing our agility thing in no time. Love "Mum" Sierra
Hey Joey -- I did that too when the gardner stopped by. That's how we came to have a new wider front door at our howse. Get well soon!!
Sis, we hope that you will be back swimming and floating soon. Your bootie looks pretty cool. Can we sign it? Luv ya!
