Joey has always been noble when it comes to Sophie's welfare, but she has really taken it up a notch. She has stepped in at the dog park when she felt other dogs were not showing Sophie her due respect. Now that Sophie is "special needs" Joey has taken it upon herself to "just be nearby". She knows Sophie is not a snuggler, but she stays close by, just so Sophie knows she is loved, AND that someone else could watch the house if she wanted to take a nap.

I love these guys.
